ABOUT ME

Graciela Echeverria-Hanley – Program Director & Owner
Graciela is from Guayaquil, Ecuador and has lived in Anchorage for over 28 years.  She has been married for over 29 years to Todd Hanley and has two children.  Graciela has a B.S. in Education and a Masters in Counseling.  She worked for the Anchorage School District as a school counselor, elementary and high school teacher for 25 years. Graciela comes from a family of educators and she absolutely loves teaching.

The Yakking Spot is very special for Graciela because she does not only get to speak and teach in her native tongue – Spanish – but she also gets to interact with adults and show them how much fun learning can be.
